青山テルマさんがベストアルバムを発売しましたが、売り上げトップに躍り出ているようです。なんか、最近アルバム発売といえばベスト盤というイメージがあったのですが、やはりその通りだったようです。
今はみんな好きな曲をダウンロードするから、ベスト盤にしないとアルバムが売れにくいという背景があるんですね。でも、ベスト盤って、いままで聴いたことの有る曲だけ入っていることですから、目新しさがなくて私はあんまり好きじゃないんですよね・・・。極端な話、いままでダウンロードした局をつなげたら良いだけだし、やっぱり新しい曲を聞いて見たいですよね。今持っている曲と同じものが収録されているアルバムっていうのは、あまり買う気にはならないです・・・
CDが売れないとレコード会社が儲からないわけですから、さまざまな戦略で売らないとだめなんですよね。ダウンロード全盛で、しかもこの不況ですから、レコード会社も厳しい時代になってきたようです。でも、やっぱり音楽の醍醐味はアルバムですから、この文化が衰退して欲しくはないです。
